“Transforming followers into leaders, leaders into agents of change.” was a mantra from the late Myles Munroe, an internationally-recognized leader, motivational speaker, and author. He and several others tragically died in a Bahamian plane crash yesterday.
How tragic that this happened. But, how fortunate that he authored several hundred leadership articles and books before his untimely passing. A particular favorite was Releasing Your Potential” where my copy has that has tattered, dog-eared corners.
Monroe inspired people around the world! I had a chance to hear him speak at a conference in 2009 and I was quite impressed with his teachable style. He was an amazing teacher and leader. Regardless of belief in his faith-based ministry, I appreciated his quest for knowledge and desire to mentor others.
So, it has again inspired me to catch up on some reading…and writing! Time waits for no one!
