Malala Yousafzai is a girl with a voice where sadly women remain voiceless. She has come to be a speaker for those who cannot speak up. She is an advocate for those who cannot fight injustice done without consequence.

This month is Hispanic Heritage Month and I choose to honor Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. She comes from humble beginnings but has always had grand dreams and self-motivation.
In recent months, our world has witnessed leaders do the unexpected. Sometimes we agree with these decisions and other times we do not. Some leaders have gone to different landscapes, a few plateaus. Interestingly enough, whatever the circumstance or path taken it is all part of the REAL journey!

Miles Scott, a five-year old leukemia patient in remission fulfilled a dream made possible by the Make-a-Wish Foundation and warmed our hearts.
