It was about 10 years ago that life changed. My career took a turn and I found myself landlocked after being recruited 3K away from my home, the Left (West) Coast, and holding a layoff notice. Hmm…No bueno.
But, with my creativity, I launched a leadership development and communication skills consulting firm to serve others. With an assortment of skills, it discovered the entrepreneur’s lifestyle and new ways to become an advocate and a go-to-resource. With my networking skills and creative writing skills, I started as a blogger and then became a published author.
Through my vision, I created a 7-step leadership system, outlined community engagement resources, and addressed new ways for leaders to nurture their skills and ideal growth opportunities. Thankfully, I have been able to pour more than 30 years of expertise into service and support for others.
All that to say…Happy Anniversary to my business baby, a goal to serve others and help them to flourish and lead. The key to success: Thrive and Stay Alive. After 10 years, I’m standing tall and flourishing.
