Are you willing to stand up in the face of adversity? Are you willing to speak for justice?
As a leader, you must be willing to make personal sacrifice for personal beliefs. Recently the world lost Olympic legend Muhammad Ali. He stood up against war. He did not waiver on racial matters. He hardly blinked when he favored his religious practices and new name.
He was willing to do what he could do. He took opportunities to do what he needed to grab the microphone and the worldwide camera to make a point and leave a mark in the face of controversy.
Do we have the courage to stand our ground for our convictions? Do we have the ability to risk persecution and alienation from mainstream culture?
