Keeping it real? What is it about authentic leaders and their style that really resonates with most of us? Is it their candor? Is it their personality? Maybe it’s all of that and more.
Those we see in the public eye or experience in our day-to-day routine are just real through and through. It is in how they interact with others. It is in how they respond and carry themselves. They are pleasant and respectful with others. We do not have to question their integrity because it is obvious.
What we see is that they have a positive attitude. Not everything is rosy but they have a way of looking at the glass half full rather than half empty. They see that there are teachable moments rather than failures or missteps. And the great part is that their positive energy often rubs off onto other people.
