During March, we can celebrate so much about National Women’s History Month. These opportunities include ways to highlight and feature leaders in our communities, social and political forums, and most importantly in our homes and neighborhoods.
The 2011 theme is “Our History is Our Strength” and it could not be any more relevant than now. Recognizing the history and efforts of women worldwide is the way to learn of the incredible strength and fortitude within.
Women’s History Month is another opportunity to explore how the tremendous contributions of women leaders should not be overlooked or pushed aside. In fact, it is a time to take note of what they have done and so much more.
Each week this month, I’ll take a closer look at how different women and themes have emerged within leadership forums. It is not just a chance to post and reflect but an opportunity for us to dig deeper into the understanding about what made each of these aspects so real.
